Wow! What a great night of fabulous wine and delicious food!!
Those members that were able to make the "A New Zealand Wine Tasting" event on September 7th, New Zealand may never again be thought of the same way again. The food from Cassatt's and Chef Jacque was really amazing. When paired with the specific wines selected by Saulo, our sommelier who led the diners through the selection, background, and reasons for the pairing, both the food and the wine made each that much better.
We certainly hope to have more events like this next season!
Tremendous thanks go to Elizabeth Lockhart and Tracey Pilsch, our intrepid social chairs, for putting on such a great event!

Why name a cafe after Mary Cassatt?Cassatt's is a gallery for local artists that offers art classes as well as being a Kiwi Cafe!
And yes, this Mary Cassatt really is the American impressionist who painted with Monet, Manet, Degas, and the other French impressionists. Click here for more on Mary Cassatt. Many of our artists evoke the style of Mary Cassatt and the impressionists in their work
